Allan Phang introduced Tuesday that he’s leaving <\/span>Southeast Asian<\/span>-based esports group EVOS Esports on the finish of June (Wednesday). Phang made the announcement through social media, noting that he was grateful to all of the folks he labored with in and outdoors of the corporate throughout his time there.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI wish to take this chance to thank all my colleagues, companions, and media mates starting from editors to journalists for making this journey a significant and thrilling one,\u201d he wrote on social media.<\/span><\/p>\n

Phang joined EVOS in <\/span>April of 2020<\/span> to function the group\u2019s Head of Advertising and PR. Throughout his time he was instrumental in spearheading plenty of partnerships and sponsorships with TikTok, Visa Indonesia, and Newzoo, amongst others. He additionally helped the group increase a <\/span>$12 million USD Collection B financing spherical<\/span> in October of 2020.<\/span><\/p>\n

Previous to becoming a member of EVOS, Phang spent seven years with Malaysian airline, AirAsia, most lately as its head of esports.<\/span><\/p>\n
